Murzilli Consulting is looking for a new Airspace Consultant.

Murzilli Consulting, a digital aviation consultancy business unit operating within the M&K Global AG group, was established in Switzerland in 2020. It has expanded its presence with subsidiaries in Germany, Hungary, the United Kingdom, and Spain, making it a global player in the aviation consulting industry.
Our goal is to assist clients in achieving success with their regulation and compliance strategies and implementations. We act as a digital outsourced regulatory department, helping clients establish effective internal regulatory functions. Our focus is on emerging technologies in crewed and uncrewed aviation, advanced air mobility, and U-space.
Murzilli Consulting offers governments and private enterprises the opportunity to establish high-performing internal regulatory functions, along with services such as regulatory strategies, UAS and USSP certification, design verification, SORA approvals, and CE marking. Our customer base includes leading drone organisations who trust in our expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Support our global consulting team in complex airspace policy and regulatory projects
- Engage in the complex technical and regulatory aspects of nation-wide airspace modernisation programs providing expert advice on a wide variety of subjects including (but not limited to):
- Electronic Conspicuity
- Detect and Avoid
- UTM
- Remote ID
- SWIM
- Support complex airspace change efforts to accommodate and later integrate new entrants (drones, EVTOL and HAPS)
- Work as client side advisor to regulatory authorities on a wide variety of airspace topics maintaining a high level of integrity and independence
- Flight procedures design
- Airspace structures design
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation, or a related technical field.
- At least 4+ years of relevant experience, particularly with air navigation systems.
- Certificate in Flight procedures design
- At least 2+ years of experience in airspace structures and flight procedures design.
- Knowledge in airspace management services at the three levels (strategic, pretactical and tactical).
- Knowledge of UAS and associated standards.
- Ability to work from Murzilli Consulting's Madrid or Berlin Headquarters
Preferred skills:
- Familiar with EU regulations regarding Air Traffic Flow and Capacity Management (ATFCM), Air Traffic Services (ATS), Airspace Service Management (ASM) and FUA.
- Familiar with Eurocontrol’s documentation regarding Airspace Service Management (ASM) and FUA.
- Familiar with EU regulations regarding UAS systems.
- Excellent time management skills, self-discipline, and communication abilities.
