Founded in 2016, Vertical Aerospace is a leading aerospace and technology company with the largest global pre-order book with prestigious airline partners such as Virgin Atlantic and American Airlines, and their exceptional partner ecosystem includes the likes of Rolls-Royce and Honeywell.
Vertical is breaking the boundaries and pushing their commitment in the EVTOL world by changing the way the world travels.
Their mission is powered by pioneers and progress is their prerogative.
At Vertical, they are developing the UK's first fully electric, vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL), the VX4. With zero-operating emissions. Vertical is transforming the way people travel through offering a faster, safer and greener way to move.
The idea for Vertical was born from the frustration of being stuck in a two hour gridlock. Across the world, our cities are overcrowded, congested and polluted. Urban travel isn’t working. Not for people. Certainly not for the planet. So, they set out to design a new way to get around, and define the way forward. And the way forward, is up.
