We’re looking for an experienced software engineer to help develop the flight controller for our two UAVs, Vesper and Trace, the micro drone we are developing for the Army’s Soldier Borne Sensor Program. You will work with a small and highly talented team developing products that will impact national security and have the potential to save lives.
Responsibilities
- Flight controller development
- Obstacle avoidance system integration
- Object recognition and tracking capability development
- Flight logging infrastructure development
- ATAK and COT integration
- Sensor selection and driver development
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development
- Systems engineering experience
- Embedded C/C++ software and driver development experience
- Experience tuning PID controllers, EKF state estimators, signal processing, path planning
- Experience with drones and/or robotics
- Preferred experience with Px4, APM, MavSDK and/or Mavlink
