As a Pre-Sales Engineer, working with Technology firm, you will support Sales Team with technical product demonstrations, have technical discussions with prospects and customers, work with clients on any technical issues, and help execute the overall sales and account strategy. The firm primarily serves public sector transportation owners and heavy civil general contractors in highway, rail, water, and utilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Work with the sales team to strategize and prepare for all customer-facing meetings and presentations.

 Conduct product demonstrations to prospects during the sales process.

 Conduct discussions with customers and prospects, explaining the value of our solution in phone calls, virtual meetings, and face-to-face presentations.

 Train and guide potential customers through software trials that lead to customer adoption.

 Troubleshoot and solve technical problems with existing clients.

 Write technical specifications and describe the software in response to formal customer solicitations.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Experience with drone operations, drone industry, photogrammetry solutions.

 Degree in Civil Engineering (advantage).

 3 years of experience working on civil engineering and infrastructure construction sites such as highways, roads, water, utilities, or energy (advantage).

 Experience working with design software such as AutoCAD, Bentley, etc. (advantage).

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

 General technical aptitude with a customer-centric approach

 Experience with enterprise software sales processes and technical presentations

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Excellent presentation and product demo skills and willingness to learn and improve

 Must work well in a collaborative team environment and as a motivated, self-starter eager to learn

 Ability to effectively translate customer requirements and share insights with the sales team, product management, and executive management

 Experience with civil construction software tools, reading design files and technical specifications of civil works, and familiarity with related software products such as Autodesk, Bentley, Oracle P6, or Microsoft Project

 Understanding of 3D, 4D, and 5D construction technologies and BIM orientation
